Established in the 2014-2015 academic year, the Operating Room Services Program is a two-year associate degree program. Considering the rapidly increasing need for healthcare personnel, the program aims to train experienced surgical assistants who can prepare and use all surgical instruments in the operating room, directly participate in all surgical teams, and provide assistance to surgeons and operating room nurses during surgery.
The core of the education focuses on training students to become skilled surgical assistants who can identify and use all surgical instruments in the operating room, and assist in preparing and using all advanced surgical equipment.
