Graduation project is a compulsory course to be taken in the fall semester of the fourth year according to the curriculum. Thanks to this course, it is aimed that the students combine the theoretical and applied knowledge they have seen in the field of computer engineering in a real application study and increase their experience on a special field.
Students enrolled in this course in the relevant semester are assigned to an advisor by the department board. The graduation project must be completed with the appointed advisor. However, in special cases, the graduation project advisor can be changed with the decision of the department board.
As a result of the meeting between the student and his/her advisor, a project topic is determined within two weeks following the start of the classes. The student prepares a report by conducting research on the determined topic and submits this report to his/her advisor by the end of the midterm week at the latest.
Upon the completion of the study, the student delivers the final report to the advisor until the end of the classes in the relevant semester and takes a day from the advisor to make an oral presentation.
The advisor evaluates the student's success grade according to the application made, if the interim report, oral presentation, final report and the project include application.
