Taking necessary actions to prevent the inability to assign required academic personnel for Second Foreign Language courses and to avoid the resulting disruptions in students fulfilling their curriculum course obligations.

The necessity and importance of assigning instructors for Second Foreign Language courses were conveyed to the relevant units by the Head of Department before the completion of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring semester. The process regarding course assignments for the relevant courses is being carried out by the higher units, and the developments are meticulously followed by the Head of Department.

"Eliminating the systematic connection problems encountered during the synchronous execution of courses that are conducted online and asynchronously via the Distance Education system, which are held to reinforce educational activities, as these problems negatively affect the continuity and flow of education."

Since the instructor assignments for the Common Compulsory Courses conducted asynchronously are made by our Faculty Deanship, the necessary information regarding the matter will be provided to the Deanship Authority.

Experiencing network coverage (signal strength) problems belonging to mobile operators across the Mezitli Campus; finding a solution to the complete disconnection of mobile communication and cellular data access, especially in the new reading room located in the basement.

The Information Technologies Authority was contacted by the Department Faculty Members to evaluate the base station and signal booster needs serving the campus, but a solution has not been provided by the relevant institution or forwarded to the relevant operators. Since this issue concerns all students studying and all faculty members conducting educational activities at the Mezitli Campus, it is considered appropriate to submit an Institutional request.

"Meeting the need for a physical space for a hobby room on the Mezitli Campus where students can spend their extracurricular time efficiently, supporting social interaction and cultural development."

"Communication will be established with the relevant administrative units to forward the request for a multi-purpose hobby room to be made available for students' use."

"Addressing the need to improve the seating areas (benches, chairs, etc.) in common use and resting areas on the Mezitli Campus in terms of ergonomic comfort, and the insufficiency of the food and beverage product variety in the canteen located on the terrace in meeting student needs."

Necessary notifications will be made to the relevant units regarding eliminating the lack of comfort in seating areas, increasing the variety of the canteen menu, and raising the service quality.

Repairing the existing damages and providing and improving the hygiene conditions of the sinks located on the Mezitli Campus.

"The relevant suggestions will be forwarded to the respective units so that planning can be made to improve the physical conditions of the sinks, repair damaged areas, and increase hygiene conditions."

"Fixing the problem of the lack of access to printing and photocopying (stationery) services that students need for course materials, project submissions, and official document processes within or in the immediate vicinity of the Mezitli Campus."

"The request regarding addressing the lack of such services within the campus and facilitating students' access to academic materials will be forwarded to the relevant units for necessary planning."

Preventing the frequent technical malfunctions and card reading errors in the turnstile systems located at the main entrance point of the Mezitli Campus.

A request for regular maintenance and repair regarding the access control systems will be forwarded to the relevant units.

"Ensuring the necessary temperature standards for the educational environment due to technical problems experienced in the heating systems in some classrooms during winter season conditions."

Relevant administrative units will be contacted to resolve the heating problem in the classrooms.

"Organizing a department-specific special 'Graduation/Farewell Day' event for prospective graduates."

"The content, date, and scope of the said organization will be determined as a result of a joint evaluation after the draft program prepared by the Translation Society and the students at the graduation stage is submitted to the Head of Department."

"Enriching the scientific (seminars, conferences, etc.) and social events organized by the department and student societies in terms of quantity and quality."

"Active coordination will be ensured between the Head of Department and the Translation Society during the process of enriching the event calendar. The planning and execution processes of academic and social organizations will be carried out jointly with the participation of society members under the consultancy of the department faculty members."
