Mobility Area 2026 Calls National Information Day
General Information Training for the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 Call, 12 February 2026, Ankara
Ankara
TRinHE_MSCA SE 2026_Agenda.pdf
On 12 February, within the scope of the Horizon Europe Turkey Technical Assistance Project, a one-day General Information Training on the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 Call will be organized in a hybrid format by the TÜBİTAK MSCA National Contact Points.
Within the Horizon Europe programme, researcher mobility plays a key role in strengthening the European Research Area (ERA). Implemented under the Excellent Science pillar, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) aim to strengthen Europe’s human capital, increase cross-border collaboration, and promote knowledge circulation between institutions and sectors. The Staff Exchanges action achieves these goals by bringing together academic and non-academic organizations through short-term international secondments.
In order to support the participation of the Turkish Research Area in this prestigious mobility programme, the training to be held in Ankara will address the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 Call in all its aspects. The training will provide a general overview of the programme’s objectives, eligibility criteria, and recent developments; followed by detailed information on project development logic, participation pathways, and especially the new features introduced with the 2026 Call.
From a programme-level perspective, MSCA Staff Exchanges is a bottom-up call with a broad scope and strong impact. The 2025 call received 363 proposals involving 2,757 organizations from 134 countries; approximately 17% of these applications included non-academic actors, including the private sector and SMEs. With a budget of approximately €100 million, the programme stands out as a powerful tool supporting cross-sector collaboration and institutional learning. Since the start of Horizon Europe, thousands of secondments have been supported under MSCA Staff Exchanges, contributing to the establishment of long-term partnerships among universities, research organizations, and industry.
Pre-registration is mandatory for participation.
Pre-registration:
https://forms.gle/RhW4q95nyGbC6G1z8
You can access the event agenda here.
Important Notes
The language of the training will be English. No translation services will be provided for either physical or online participation.
Participants who pre-register for in-person attendance must receive a confirmation email from the Project Team in order to attend the event. The venue and other thematic/logistical information will be shared only with confirmed participants. Due to the nature of the event, the number of participants is limited; therefore, only one representative per institution will be approved. The event will be organized such that transportation, accommodation, and similar logistical expenses will be the responsibility of the participants.
Participants who prefer online attendance will receive the online access details (via Zoom) by email from the Project Team before the event date.

Transnational Access is a support mechanism that enables researchers to access specialised research facilities (laboratories, telescopes, archives, etc.) that are not available in their home countries. Thanks to this EU-funded programme, scientists can benefit from advanced technology infrastructures in different European countries free of charge or with support. Generally, travel and accommodation costs are also covered under the programme.
