Program Outputs

Program Outcomes of the Nursing Bachelor's Program:The Program Outcomes of the Nursing Bachelor's Program have been determined by taking into consideration the Program Objective, the Turkish Nursing Core Education Program (HUÇEP), the Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) Health Basic Field Level 6 competencies, and the Nursing Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (HEPDAK) program outcomes. The processes related to the determination and updating of program outcomes are carried out in accordance with policies, guidelines and procedures defined at the Faculty and Department levels. Program Outcomes alignment tables are as follows.

Program Outcomes (PO)

• PO 1: Explains and relates current theoretical, evidence-based and applied knowledge specific to the nursing field.
• PO 2: Plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for the health needs of individuals, families and communities using the nursing process with a holistic understanding.
• PO 3: Carries out nursing practices in accordance with professional principles, ethical principles, legal responsibilities and scientific principles and methods.
• PO 4: Analyzes problems encountered in personal and professional practice areas and makes evidence-based decisions.
• PO 5: Uses knowledge in the nursing field in teaching-learning practices and participates in interdisciplinary research.
• PO 6: Gains the ability to follow the latest developments in science, technology, education and health and continuously improve oneself by adopting the importance of lifelong learning and quality management.
• PO 7: Leads organizational structures and systems in supporting and developing safe and quality care.
• PO 8: Works in cooperation with the health team and other disciplines with professional responsibility awareness.
• PO 9: Can use the management process in nursing practices.
• PO 10: Possesses communication skills to establish and manage correct communication and information transfer both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders of the organization in which it is located, at national and international levels.
