Curriculum
The learning outcomes, content, delivery methods, and assessment approaches for each course have been prepared in accordance with the Bologna course description format, and each course has been structured with due regard to its contribution to program outcomes. Consistency between learning outcomes, content, delivery methods, and assessment processes is maintained across all course syllabi.
Curriculum Model
The curriculum adopts Course-Based and Problem-Based teaching approaches, supported by a structured instructional plan aligned with the educational aims and outcomes of the Nursing Department. The instructional plan is evaluated in terms of Basic Sciences, Professional Subjects, General Education, and Other Subjects. Basic Sciences are addressed primarily in the first year and partially in the second year, while Professional Subjects are introduced from the first year onward and become increasingly intensive in upper years. Departmental elective courses are also included in the program.
Through the curriculum, students develop their understanding and skills in teamwork. Activities that promote lifelong learning and the application of knowledge are defined throughout the program. Students are provided with learning opportunities that encourage participation in scientific research and allow them to gain research experience. In addition, practical activities designed to prepare students for post-graduation education and working conditions are also incorporated into the program.
Teaching Methods and Techniques
A variety of teaching methods and techniques aligned with learning outcomes are employed in courses. These include lecture, problem-solving, question-and-answer, active learning, presentations, laboratory work, field studies, and group work.
Assessment and Evaluation
Student learning activities are measured, evaluated, and continuously improved as defined in course syllabi, through written and oral examinations, laboratory and skills assessments, clinical and field practice evaluations, care plans, assignments, and graduate and stakeholder feedback.
