The Industrial Engineering Bachelor's Program includes a mandatory internship to enable students to develop their professional knowledge and skills in a practical environment.
The program includes a 4-week (20 working days) short-term mandatory internship during the 3rd year summer term and a 70-working-day (1 semester) mandatory internship in engineering. The aim is to prepare our students for the industry upon graduation. During the internship, students have the opportunity to observe engineering practices in suitable companies operating in the public or private sector, participate in technical processes, and apply their theoretical knowledge in a real work environment. Internship activities are conducted within the framework of the department's internship committee and relevant legislation.
The internship application process, evaluation criteria, required documents, and internship writing rules are determined within the scope of the Faculty of Engineering Internship Guidelines.
