"Intern Engineering Practice" is a new approach developed for engineering students who have completed their coursework and are in their final semester. It involves spending 70 working days in an industrial setting for graduate engineers. Intern engineering goes beyond traditional internships and allows students to take on engineering roles and actively participate in projects.
"Intern Engineers" are trained to enter the industry directly by combining their theoretical and practical education with real-world applications. After completing all their courses, intern engineers spend their time entirely in the industry, aligning with the working and shift hours of the industrial setting, and working directly in the field, including production areas.
IMPORTANCE OF INTERN ENGINEERING FOR STUDENTS
Interns have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Through internships, students also gain familiarity with the industry and companies. Moreover, interns can obtain references from the companies they work for, putting them in an advantageous position and starting their professional careers with high self-confidence and adequate skills.
IMPORTANCE OF INTERN ENGINEERING FOR ENGINEERING FACULTIES
Intern engineering goes beyond traditional internships and enhances coordination between faculties and companies. It increases the value that graduate students bring to companies and society. This program is expected to make a significant contribution to addressing the issue of qualified technical staff in our country.
