The Dialysis Program provides simulation-based and practice-oriented learning environments that enable students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills. The laboratories and practice areas used within this scope allow for the effective delivery of courses related to dialysis equipment recognition and operation, patient preparation and monitoring, infection control, sterilization practices, and basic healthcare skills.

In line with our practice-oriented educational approach, laboratory studies constitute one of the core components of the program. Students have the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge they acquire in theoretical courses through hands-on applications, thereby enhancing their professional competencies.

Dialysis Practice and Simulation Areas

The practice areas within the program support students in becoming familiar with the dialysis unit environment and developing their professional skills. In these settings, students can practice procedures such as the setup and operation of dialysis machines, patient preparation and monitoring, support of treatment processes, patient safety practices, and infection control.

Through laboratory and practical training, it is aimed to develop students’ attention, manual skills, competence in equipment use, adherence to sterile working principles, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. In addition, these environments are actively used not only for course applications but also for professional skill development and pre-clinical preparation processes.

The infrastructure of the practice areas is organized to support educational activities and to provide a learning environment where students can adapt to current practices in the healthcare sector.

The program’s practice areas are structured to contribute to the development of students’ professional skills, reinforce their theoretical knowledge, and prepare them as well-equipped individuals capable of working in dialysis units after graduation.
