About Us
The Dialysis Program, operating under the Vocational School of Health Services at Toros University, was established to meet a critical need in the healthcare sector and aims to educate qualified and competent healthcare technicians. Since its establishment, the program has been committed to preparing students for professional life through an application-oriented education approach that closely follows scientific advancements.
Within the program, theoretical courses in areas such as basic medical sciences, kidney diseases, dialysis methods, and patient care are supported by practical training and clinical experience. Under the 3+1 education model, students spend their final semester entirely in the field, gaining hands-on experience in real working environments and strengthening their professional competencies before graduation.
As a Dialysis Program, we adopt an educational approach that prioritizes patient safety, ethical values, quality standards, and teamwork. We aim to educate individuals who are not only technically competent but also possess strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and a patient-centered approach.
By closely following developments in the healthcare sector, we continuously update our curriculum and aim to enhance the quality of education through collaboration with industry representatives. Our graduates are employed as competent and preferred healthcare professionals in dialysis units of public and private healthcare institutions.
