Organizational Structure And Decision-making Process

Decision-Making Processes and External Stakeholder Participation

In the Child Development Program, the planning, implementation, updating, and quality assurance processes of educational activities are carried out based on a participatory management approach and a continuous improvement philosophy. The program administration and relevant academic units play an active role in decision-making processes, and external stakeholder feedback is utilized to ensure the program remains up-to-date and aligned with the field of child development.

In this context, external stakeholders include public and private educational institutions (such as nurseries, kindergartens, daycare centers, and special education and rehabilitation centers), professionals working in the field of child development and early childhood education, graduates, and experienced practitioners.

External Stakeholder Participation and Its Impact on the Program

Feedback and evaluations obtained from external stakeholders are systematically collected and analyzed through meetings, field visits, and feedback mechanisms. Based on the data obtained, necessary updates are made to improve the educational processes of the program.

In this regard, particularly the following are taken into consideration:

  • Current educational approaches in early childhood education
  • Activities and practices supporting developmental domains
  • Situations encountered by students during field practices
  • Professional experiences and feedback from graduates

Based on the feedback received, course content, practical training processes, and program structure are regularly reviewed. The emphasis on areas such as play-based learning, developmental assessment, family involvement, and early childhood education practices is further strengthened.

Through this approach, the program aims to train child development professionals who can support all developmental domains of children on a scientific basis, possess strong ethical values, and have well-developed communication and teamwork skills.
