Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program.

Purpose of the Department; will be sensitive to all kinds of developments and changes that may affect people and human health in daily life and will be able to take these into consideration in the service they provide, will be able to determine the nursing care needs of healthy or sick individuals in every environment, will be able to plan and implement the nursing care necessary to meet these needs at the level of professional standards, and The aim is to train professional nurses who will evaluate their health, fulfill their roles and functions as an active and effective member of the health team, take a role in nursing education, management and research, and consider professional ethical principles while fulfilling all these.

Nurses who play an important role in the field of health, in addition to the basic medical sciences courses, include the basic sciences of the nursing profession (nursing basics, internal medicine nursing, surgical nursing, obstetrics and gynecology nursing, child health and diseases nursing, mental health and diseases). nursing and public health nursing) theoretical courses and applications.

Graduates of this department can work as a manager and clinician nurse in all public and private health institutions, as a school nurse in educational institutions, and as a manager and institutional nurse in various institutions. Those who have received pedagogical formation training can teach in health vocational high schools.
