Organizational Structure And Decision-making Process

The organizational structure of the Mechatronics Program is established to ensure that educational and academic activities are carried out in an effective, planned, and coordinated manner. The program organization consists of a Head of Department, a Program Coordinator, and one Faculty Member. This structure is responsible for managing academic processes, planning course activities, and monitoring the overall functioning of the program.

The program organization also operates in line with the quality assurance approach, supporting continuous improvement activities. Tasks related to monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing academic processes are coordinated within this structure.

The decision-making process is carried out in a participatory, transparent, and systematic manner. Academic and administrative decisions related to the program are first evaluated at the program level and shaped in accordance with the opinions of the relevant boards and units. Decisions taken are reviewed by the Department Board and, when necessary, submitted to higher administrative levels.

Student applications and individual requests are also handled within this process. Students submit their requests to the Program Coordinator using the relevant forms. After the evaluation and approval by the Program Coordinator, the process is forwarded through the EBYS system to the Head of Department for approval. Following the Head of Department’s approval, the applications are submitted to the Vocational School Directorate for final review.

Through this structure, decision-making processes are conducted within a hierarchical, traceable, and institutional framework while also ensuring transparency and the inclusion of student and stakeholder participation.
