Professional Practice is a mandatory component of the curriculum designed to enable students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and skills through practical experience and to gain professional competence.

Within the Mechatronics Program, Professional Practice is carried out entirely in the industry during the final semester of study. In this period, students work full-time in relevant workplaces, gaining direct experience in real working environments.

Students complete their professional practice in institutions and organizations that cooperate with the university. This process provides them with the opportunity to develop key competencies such as adapting to working life, participating in teamwork, solving engineering problems in practice, and gaining professional responsibility.

The Professional Practice process is monitored by the relevant academic units, and students’ attendance and workplace performance are regularly evaluated. Students are expected to comply with workplace rules, work discipline, and occupational health and safety regulations.

The evaluation process is based on students’ activities during the practice period, employer evaluations, and, when necessary, academic assessments conducted by the department.

To successfully complete the Professional Practice, students are required to fulfill the full duration of the practice, submit all required documents on time, and pass the relevant evaluation processes.

For detailed information and official regulations, students should refer to the related directive:
