Double Major Programs

The Double Major Program is an academic program that allows students who are successfully continuing their primary undergraduate degree to pursue a second undergraduate program simultaneously and graduate with two separate diplomas. The aim of the program is to enable students to gain knowledge and skills in a different field, thereby enhancing their academic and professional competencies.

Students admitted to the Double Major Program are required to successfully complete both the compulsory and elective courses of the second program in addition to their primary (major) program. During this process, the course load increases, and the duration of study may be extended depending on the student’s academic performance.

Applications to the program are made in accordance with the criteria specified in the relevant regulations. Students must meet requirements such as minimum grade point average, academic success level, and other conditions set by the relevant department. Applications are evaluated by academic units and accepted within the available quota.

Within the Double Major Program, students’ academic progress, course compatibility, and study plans are monitored by academic advisors. Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive a second undergraduate diploma in addition to their primary degree.

For detailed information and official regulations, students should refer to the relevant directive:
