Student Mobility for Studies:

Students registered in formal education in higher education institutions can participate in student mobility in higher education. Students studying in open education and similar (distance education) programs cannot benefit from the activity.

Grants are awarded only for the following activities abroad:

- Full-time associate, undergraduate, graduate or doctoral studies, which are the main part of the recognition of a diploma/degree in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), including thesis preparation (but not including research assignments and external research studies other than the research studies that make up the study programme)

- Full-time internships recognized by the higher education institution as part of the student's learning program

A full-time student is a student who has not yet completed the studies (credits) required by his/her diploma/degree and is expected to have a course load of 30 ECTS credits in a semester.

A full-time internship is a full working day internship during the student's activity period.

Description of the Activity:

Learning Mobility-Learning

It is carried out within the framework of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and the existing inter-institutional agreements of the higher education institution.

The activity is that the student registered in the higher education institution carries out a part of her/his education in the higher education institution abroad, which is a partner with an inter-institutional agreement. The duration of the activity can be between 3 and 12 months (1, 2 or 3 semesters according to the systems of some countries), which can be completed in the same academic year, valid for each education level separately.

Students in the first year of associate or undergraduate programs and graduate students cannot benefit from the learning mobility activity.

Students participating in the activity must be full-time students. Students are expected to be sent to follow the program corresponding to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, ECTS) credits for a semester and 60 for a full academic year, in order to carry out the studies required by their diploma/degree abroad. Successful credits in the program followed are given full academic recognition, and failed credits are repeated at the host institution.

Full Recognition should be carried out as follows: If the courses/internships included in the student's study/internship agreement are taken at the host institution and he/she is successful, the original names, credits and grades of these courses/internships should be included in the Diploma Supplement and in the Diploma Supplement and it should be clearly stated in the footnotes or the Diploma Supplement that they benefited from mobility within the scope of Erasmus+. In addition, the transcript and Diploma Supplement should clearly show which courses are taken within the scope of Erasmus+.
