The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Toros University adopts a structure based on strong institutional support and diversified financial resources in order to sustain its educational, research, and community engagement activities. Departmental activities are systematically supported through the university budget, Scientific Research Projects (BAP) funding, and externally funded project grants. In this context, BAP projects aimed at enhancing the scientific productivity of academic staff are encouraged, and administrative as well as technical support is provided throughout the project development processes.
The infrastructure of the application kitchens and the food laboratory is regularly updated to enhance the effectiveness of educational and research activities, and maintenance and repair processes are secured through institutional resources. The department’s application kitchens and food laboratory are equipped with modern facilities to enable students to develop their practical skills.
