Electrical And Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Toros University offers an engineering program that integrates a strong theoretical foundation with practical training, centered around project-based learning. Our department aims to raise engineers who can think analytically, possess highly developed problem-solving skills, and are able to adapt to technological advancements.

Our program consists of 8 semesters and 240 ECTS credits, providing our students with a comprehensive education that covers basic sciences, fundamental engineering, and field-specific courses. Through the project courses offered in the third and fourth years, our students have the opportunity to work on real-world engineering problems.

The program includes a mandatory short-term internship of 4 weeks (20 working days) during the summer term of the second year, and a mandatory intern engineering practice of 70 working days (1 academic semester). These requirements aim to ensure that our students graduate as industry-ready individuals. Thanks to the flexible curriculum structure, our students can distinguish themselves through technical elective courses and take advantage of double major and minor programs.

With its academic staff, laboratory infrastructure, and quality-oriented management approach, our department prepares its students for both the industry and graduate studies.
