Institutional Support And Financial Resources

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Toros University adopts a structure based on strong institutional support and diversified financial resources to ensure the sustainability of its education, research, and community engagement activities. Departmental operations are systematically supported through the university budget, Scientific Research Projects (BAP) funding, and externally funded research grants. In this context, faculty members are encouraged to enhance their scientific productivity through BAP projects, and administrative and technical support is provided throughout the project development processes.

The laboratory infrastructure is regularly updated to improve the effectiveness of educational and research activities, and maintenance and repair processes are secured through institutional resources. Departmental laboratories are equipped with modern devices and software to enable students to develop their practical skills. In addition, research laboratories support undergraduate and graduate-level projects and promote interdisciplinary studies.

In line with MÜDEK accreditation processes, the effective, efficient, and transparent use of resources is adopted as a fundamental principle. Accordingly, planning for infrastructure, equipment, and human resources necessary for the sustainability of educational activities is regularly reviewed and improved. Institutional support mechanisms are evaluated within the framework of stakeholder feedback and continuous improvement cycles.

The department aims to increase access to national and international research funding and encourages faculty members in this direction. Furthermore, students are supported to actively participate in project-based learning processes, contributing to their academic and professional development. This comprehensive approach strengthens the department’s quality assurance system and contributes to the establishment of a sustainable structure aligned with MÜDEK criteria.
