Our Department

The aim of the Civil Engineering Program is to equip students with the fundamental theoretical knowledge and up-to-date practical applications of civil engineering in a balanced manner. The program emphasizes active learning; applied courses, project-based learning, and skill-oriented course components constitute its core elements. Students gain competence in key areas such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation, hydraulics, and construction materials, and are prepared as well-qualified professionals for the industry.

Within the program, a compulsory 30 working-day internship is carried out during the summer term of the third year. In addition, through the intern engineering practice, students gain real-world site and project experience prior to graduation, allowing them to learn professional applications in practice. This approach aims to ensure that graduates enter the sector as more competent and experienced engineers.

The program has a flexible structure and offers a wide range of elective courses. Students can differentiate themselves by selecting courses aligned with their interests and may also benefit from minor and double major programs.
