The Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering at Toros University was established in 2009 and graduated its first students in 2014. Since its foundation, the department has adopted an approach that integrates a strong theoretical background with contemporary application areas, emphasizing project- and practice-based education. Educational activities in the fields of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation, hydraulics, and construction materials are supported by laboratory work, technical site visits, and project studies. The department aims to enhance students’ professional competencies through intern engineering practice and graduation projects. With its qualified academic staff and continuous development approach, the department continues to educate engineers who can compete at both national and international levels.
