Toros University

Established within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, the Department of Business Administration has been active since the 2010-2011 academic year and produced its first graduates in 2015.

The language of instruction in our department has been Turkish since the 2022-2023 academic year. Throughout their studies, students reinforce the English proficiency they will need in their professional lives through English and vocational English courses offered every semester. Upon successfully completing the academic coursework over the four-year program, our graduates are awarded the "Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration."

The courses and curriculum offered in our department have been designed to be equivalent to those of internationally recognized universities in the United States and Europe. In addition to core business disciplines such as management and organization, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, production management, strategic management, and entrepreneurship, our curriculum also incorporates general education courses and applied courses tailored to the needs of the business world. To provide students with professional experience, our department implements the 7+1 education system. Under this model, students who successfully complete their coursework over seven semesters participate in a 70-day internship program during their eighth and final semester. Students may undertake this internship at national or international institutions of their choice, or they may benefit from the protocols signed between our department and industry partners.

Our students receive not only vocational training across the diverse fields demanded by the private sector but also theoretical education at a level that enables them to pursue academic studies and research. Our educational approach is pragmatic and aims to cultivate individuals who learn through critical thinking rather than memorization, who make a difference, and who possess entrepreneurial qualities.

Students who successfully complete all courses in our program (corresponding to a total of 240 ECTS credits), achieve a minimum weighted grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00, and receive a passing grade for both their professional internship and internship report are awarded the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Graduates of the Department of Business Administration enjoy a broad range of employment opportunities, primarily in the private sector, in fields such as management and organization, financial and administrative affairs, accounting and finance, as well as in other branches related to these areas.
