Toros University Department of Architecture is an undergraduate program that integrates theoretical knowledge with design-oriented practice, aiming to educate architects who are capable of adapting to the requirements of the contemporary world. The department seeks to train qualified individuals who can think analytically, develop critical perspectives, define design problems, and produce multi-scalar architectural solutions.
The educational process is centered on architectural design studios, supported by theoretical courses, applied studies, and project-based learning methods. Through design studios, students develop their skills in production, representation, and presentation, while the graduation project provides a comprehensive architectural design experience.
Within the program, compulsory internships enable students to gain professional experience and become familiar with the construction and design industry. Erasmus exchange opportunities, along with double major and minor programs, support students in gaining international and interdisciplinary competencies.
The department continuously updates its curriculum through regular advisory board meetings and a continuous improvement approach, ensuring alignment with industry expectations and preparing students for both professional practice and advanced academic studies.
