Toros University Department of Architecture offers an education program that integrates theoretical knowledge with practice, based on design-oriented and project-based learning. The department aims to educate architects who are creative, capable of critical thinking, equipped with both aesthetic and technical skills, and adaptable to the requirements of the contemporary world.

The program consists of 8 semesters and 240 ECTS credits, providing students with a comprehensive education covering fundamental design, architectural design, building science, history, theory, and technology. Through studio courses in particular, students have the opportunity to work on architectural design problems at various scales and transform their theoretical knowledge into practice.

An active learning approach is adopted throughout the educational process, aiming to develop students’ skills in research, inquiry, production, and expression. Within the program, students enhance both their professional and transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, presentation, and foreign language proficiency.

Thanks to its flexible curriculum structure, students can specialize in line with their interests through elective courses and diversify their academic development by benefiting from double major and minor programs. In addition, an interdisciplinary educational environment is offered, reflecting the relationships of architecture with fields such as computer technologies, civil engineering, interior architecture, and design.

With its academic staff, studio-based education approach, and commitment to continuous improvement, the department prepares its students for both professional practice and graduate-level academic studies.
