Double Major And Minor Program

DOUBLE MINOR PROGRAM (DMP)

The double minor program is a single degree program where the student successfully completes the requirements of two programs. It is designed to provide students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and capacities by enrolling in a second diploma program upon demonstrating success in their registered program. Through the DMP, graduates from two diploma programs gain an advantage in the professional world by having different skill sets.

MINOR PROGRAM

The minor program is a type of program that allows students to gain knowledge in a field/program of their interest or need while continuing their studies in their current registered program. In the chosen minor program, students take a limited number of courses related to that field and, upon successful completion, receive a document indicating their minor status. Throughout their university education, the document and knowledge acquired through the minor program enable students to have a different perspective from their peers, thus providing them with an advantage in the professional world.

For students who wish to pursue a minor in the Department of Civil Engineering, they are required to successfully complete a minimum of 18 credits from the total course list of 36 credits specified in the Civil Engineering Minor Courses.
