The Department of Industrial Engineering at Toros University aims to equip students with the ability to design and manage the most efficient processes by developing their systematic thinking and problem-solving skills. In today’s complex and dynamic business environment, industrial engineers play a critical role in increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing processes across a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing to services.
Our department, with its strong academic staff and industry-integrated curriculum, enables students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical applications. In this process, the Applied Engineering Education conducted in the 8th semester makes a significant contribution to developing students’ ability to solve engineering problems in real-world scenarios. Through laboratory studies, simulations, and field projects, students test their theoretical knowledge in practice and reinforce their professional competencies.
