Student representation in the Nursing Department is carried out democratically through class representatives, the department representative, and the Advisory Board student representative. Representatives actively participate in decision-making processes by conveying student views and requests to the relevant boards. Class representatives who contribute throughout their term are presented with a certificate of appreciation by the Head of Department upon graduation.

Students newly enrolled in our department are prepared for university life through orientation programs held at both faculty and department level. Personal and professional development is supported through courses such as career planning, community contribution, and research in nursing, while students are included in TÜBİTAK-supported projects to gain scientific research experience. At the central library on the 45 Evler Campus, approximately 1,500 resources in the fields of nursing and health sciences are accessible without any membership requirement. Social, cultural, and sporting activities are organized by the Health, Culture and Sports Office, and department students actively participate in 18 different student communities. Students in need of psychological support are referred to expert assistance through the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center (PDRM).
