The Civil Engineering Doctoral Program was developed upon the academic experience and infrastructure of the thesis-based master's program conducted within the department since 2014. Planned to meet the growing need for specialization and to strengthen academic research capacity, the program's first student admissions announcement was published for the Fall semester of 2023-2024.
The program continues its educational activities in fundamental engineering fields such as structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, transportation, and materials engineering, utilizing its existing academic staff and research infrastructure.
