Disability Unit Coordinator
To identify the needs of disabled students registered in the unit regarding education, training, scholarship, administrative, physical, housing, social and similar areas while they continue their education, and to determine the measures that need to be taken to meet these needs and to offer solutions to eliminate them, to make the necessary arrangements to other institutions at the university. To carry out in coordination with units or departments. To work on the adaptation of the educational environment in which disabled students attend, to provide equipment for the disabled, to prepare special course materials, to organize education, research and hosting environments suitable for the disabled, in order to organize the education programs in a way that does not hinder the academic, physical and social lives of disabled university students. To carry out publishing activities for higher education students and all university employees, to prepare documents that explain and inform faculty members about disability, its limitations and the arrangements that need to be made, to raise awareness, to provide consultancy services to those concerned, and to provide in-service training when necessary. To develop programs and projects, to organize seminars, conferences and similar activities to increase the level of awareness and sensitivity in the field of disability.
