Organizational Structure And Decision-making Process

In the Dialysis Program, the planning, updating, and implementation of educational activities and quality assurance processes are carried out based on a participatory management approach and a continuous improvement perspective. In decision-making processes, program management and relevant academic units play an active role, and external stakeholder feedback is utilized to ensure the program remains up-to-date and aligned with the healthcare sector.

In this context, external stakeholders contributing to the program include dialysis units of public and private hospitals, dialysis centers, healthcare professionals working in the field (dialysis nurses, nephrologists, dialysis technicians), graduates, and field experts with professional experience.

External Stakeholder Participation, Documentation, and Impact on the Program:

Feedback and evaluations obtained from external stakeholders are systematically addressed through meetings, field visits, and feedback mechanisms aimed at improving educational processes. These inputs are analyzed in line with program needs, and when necessary, improvements are made in course content, practical training processes, and overall program structure.

In particular, the following are taken into consideration:

  • Current practices and technological developments in dialysis units,
  • Professional skills and competencies required in healthcare services,
  • Situations encountered by students during internships and clinical practices,
  • Experiences and feedback of graduates in their professional careers

Based on the feedback obtained, the program content is regularly reviewed, and improvements are made by increasing the emphasis on practical training in areas such as dialysis processes, patient safety, infection control, and equipment usage, thereby strengthening students’ professional competencies.

Through this approach, the program aims to educate healthcare technicians who can adapt to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector, possess strong practical skills, uphold ethical responsibility, and are open to continuous professional development.
