Institutional Support And Financial Resources

As the International Trade and Logistics Department of Toros University, we adopt an applied logistics education approach that aims to develop both the academic and sectoral competencies of our students. In this regard, we offer our students comprehensive services through our institution's strong infrastructure, sector collaborations, and financial support mechanisms. The main institutional supports are listed below:

1. Internships, Applied Logistics Training, and Sector Support

Within the scope of our department's application-oriented education model, our students are supported in directly interacting with the sector:

Ready Internship and Application Quotas:
Thanks to sector collaborations coordinated by the Dean's Office, Career Center, and Department Head, our students are offered ready internship opportunities. In particular, access to the sector is facilitated for our students through protocols established with the Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone (MTOSB), port operators, logistics companies, and foreign trade companies. Insurance and Corporate Guarantee:
Within the scope of mandatory internships and applied logistics training processes, our students' Occupational Accident and Occupational Disease Insurance Premiums are covered by our university within the framework of legal obligations. 2. Field Observation, Technical Trips and Logistics Applications
Transportation and Organization Support:
Technical trips are organized to ports, logistics centers, storage facilities and production enterprises to reinforce our students' theoretical knowledge with field experience. Transportation and organization support for these activities is provided by the Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Department.
3. Career Planning and Internationalization Services
Career Days and Counseling:
Through Career Days organized within our faculty, our students are brought together with representatives of the logistics and foreign trade sectors. In addition, one-on-one career counseling is offered by our faculty members through the yetenekkapisi.gov.tr platform, and the "Career Planning" course is mandatory within the curriculum.
Erasmus and Exchange Programs:
Through information activities coordinated by the International Relations Office, our students are encouraged to participate in Erasmus and other international exchange programs. 4. Library, Study Areas and Digital Infrastructure
24/7 Access:
Our students can use the library areas 24/7 and benefit from borrowing services with their university ID cards.

Academic and Digital Resources:
Through computers and digital systems within the library, our students can access national and international academic databases and quickly access resources using QR codes and online automation systems.
5. Barrier-Free Campus and Inclusive Education Support

Under the coordination of the Toros University Disability Student Unit, an accessible and inclusive educational environment is provided for all students:

Physical Accessibility:
Elevators, wheelchair ramps, and accessible walkways are available throughout the campus.
Educational Support:
Audio descriptions of course materials are provided for visually impaired students, and recording of lectures is made possible.
