Intern Engineering Application

“Intern Engineering” is a new approach developed for graduate engineers who will spend 70 working days in the industry for students who have completed their engineering education courses. It is far beyond the internship application of intern engineering, to take part in the industry as an engineer and to participate in studies.

"Intern Engineers" are trained ready to go into the industry as engineers by adding the applications in the industry directly on top of the theoretical and practical training they received at the university. Intern Engineers, after completing all their courses, spend all of their time in the industry and production area, that is, directly in the field, by complying with the working and shift hours of the industry in one of these semesters.

The Importance of Intern Engineering for Students

Interns learn practically the training they receive in theory. In this direction, it is also ensured that students get to know the sector and companies closely. In addition, interns gain an advantageous position by taking a specific reference from the company they work for, and as a result of the application, they start their working life with high self-confidence and having sufficient equipment.

The Importance of Inter-Engineering for the Faculty of Engineering

With the intern engineering practice, which is very different from the internship, coordination between faculties and companies will increase, and the added value that graduate students offer to companies and society will increase. It is foreseen that this project will make an important contribution to the solution of the problem of qualified intermediate staff in our country.

Conditions for Being an Intern Student: In the education curriculum of the departments of the Faculty of Engineering of Toros University, every student who has completed the 7th (seven) semester and has a GPA of at least 2.00 is called an "Intern Student".
