Organizational Structure And Decision-making Process

Within the scope of the Construction Technology Program, the organizational structure has been established to ensure that educational activities are carried out effectively, systematically, and in a coordinated manner. The program organization consists of the Head of Department, the Program Coordinator, and one faculty member. This structure is responsible for managing academic processes, planning courses, and overseeing the overall functioning of the program.

The program organization also operates in alignment with a quality assurance approach, supporting continuous improvement activities. Efforts related to the monitoring, evaluation, and development of academic processes are coordinated by this structure.

The decision-making process is carried out in a participatory, transparent, and systematic manner. Academic and administrative decisions related to the program are first evaluated at the program level and shaped in accordance with the opinions of relevant boards and units. Decisions taken are reviewed by the Department Board and, when necessary, submitted to senior management.

Student applications and individual requests are also evaluated within this process. Students submit their requests to the Program Coordinator through the relevant forms. After review and suitability assessment by the Program Coordinator, the process is submitted for approval to the Head of Department via the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Following the approval of the Head of Department, the relevant applications are forwarded to the Vocational School Directorate for final evaluation.

Through this structure, decision-making processes are carried out within a hierarchical, traceable, and institutional framework, while also ensuring a transparent management approach that includes student and stakeholder participation.
