The Civil Engineering Master's Program with Thesis implements a quality assurance system based on continuous improvement in its education, research, and administrative activities. The program is conducted in accordance with the principles of regularly monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the defined program learning objectives (PLA) and program outcomes (PO).
The evaluation of program outcomes is carried out using direct and indirect measurement methods, and the data obtained are systematically analyzed to provide input for improvement activities. Decisions made within this scope are implemented in a planned and traceable process, and the results are re-evaluated to complete the quality cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach).
Quality assurance processes are carried out in coordination with the department management, the quality committee, and the department advisory board, and the opinions of internal and external stakeholders are regularly integrated into the process. Graduate feedback, employer opinions, and industry expectations play an active role in updating the program.
In this regard, our program adopts a transparent, participatory, accountable, and sustainable management approach and continues its continuous development in line with national and international engineering education standards.
The organizational structure of the Civil Engineering Master's Program with Thesis is coordinated between the institute administration, the department head, program faculty members, and advisors.
The academic and administrative processes of the program are carried out within the framework of the legislation and regulations determined by the relevant Institute Directorate and the Institute Board of Directors. The department head is responsible for the implementation of the program, the creation of course plans, and coordination among faculty members.
Stakeholder participation is emphasized in the development of the program. In this context:
Student feedback (course evaluation surveys, etc.) is regularly collected. Faculty opinions are reflected in the program improvement processes.
The program is updated in line with academic and sectoral developments.
