Introduction

The aim of this program is to train professionals who can lead families, children, and educators with a contemporary level of educational and developmental knowledge; who can renew and improve themselves in line with the changing and developing needs of society; who are creative and can communicate effectively; and who are committed to the principles and reforms of Atatürk, secularism, democracy, and the rule of law.
The Child Development program employs expert faculty members, and students are expected to reach a sufficient level of professional competence through both theoretical and practical courses.

Graduates of our department do not have difficulty finding employment because they develop themselves during the professional practice phase and have the opportunity to be closely involved with the sector.

Students studying in the Child Development Program have the opportunity to graduate with a double degree by studying in another program. Furthermore, students can participate in study/internship mobility abroad for at least one year under the Erasmus program.
