LABORATORIES
The Anesthesia Program has simulation and application-based training environments that support students in transforming their theoretical knowledge into practical skills. The laboratories and application areas used within this scope enable the effective conduct of courses related to the identification and use of anesthesia equipment, patient monitoring, basic life support, sterilization practices, and fundamental clinical skills.
In line with our application-oriented education approach, laboratory work constitutes one of the fundamental components of the program. Students have the opportunity to improve their professional competence by reinforcing the knowledge they acquire in theoretical courses in a practical environment.
Anesthesia Application and Simulation Areas
The application areas included in the program support students in becoming familiar with operating room and anesthesia application environments and developing their professional skills. In these areas, students can practice on topics such as the basic components of anesthesia equipment, patient monitoring, introduction to airway management, sterile working principles, preoperative preparation, and patient safety practices.
Through laboratory and application work, the program aims to develop students' attention, manual dexterity, quick decision-making, sterile work discipline, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities. These environments are also actively used in professional skill development and clinical preparation processes, in addition to classroom applications.
The infrastructure of the practical training areas is organized to support educational activities and provides a learning environment where students can adapt to current practices in the healthcare field.
The program's practical training areas are structured to contribute to students' development of professional skills, reinforce their theoretical knowledge, and prepare them as better-equipped individuals for the healthcare environment after graduation.
