The Anesthesia Program includes a mandatory internship to enable students to develop their professional knowledge and skills in a practical setting.

As part of the Professional Practice course in our program, students complete 70 days of mandatory professional practice training in the 4th semester, which is the spring semester of the 2nd year. This practice aims to familiarize students with the healthcare field, particularly anesthesia processes, before graduation, to gain professional experience, and to develop their theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.

During the professional practice process, students have the opportunity to observe and participate in on-site work processes in operating rooms, intensive care units, and related departments of public and private healthcare institutions. These processes include the preparation and control of anesthesia equipment, patient monitoring, preoperative preparation, intraoperative support processes, and postoperative care.

Internship studies are conducted within the framework of the Vocational School's internship committee and relevant legislation.

The application process, evaluation criteria, required documents, and writing rules for the Professional Practice application are determined within the scope of the relevant Professional Practice guidelines.
