The Anesthesia Program at Toros University Vocational School was established to meet the increasing need for qualified auxiliary healthcare personnel in the healthcare sector. It began its educational activities in the 2014-2015 academic year, accepting its first students.
From its inception, the program has aimed to train well-equipped healthcare technicians capable of working in operating rooms, assisting physicians in anesthesia procedures, and ensuring patient safety. The educational process is conducted with the contributions of expert academic staff and a curriculum that is continuously updated in line with developments in the healthcare sector.
The program's educational structure adopts a practice-oriented approach alongside theoretical courses, allowing students to develop their professional skills. Through clinical applications and industry collaborations, students gain field experience before graduation.
Today, the Anesthesia Program continues to contribute to both regional and national healthcare systems by training anesthesia technicians who possess the knowledge and skills required by modern healthcare services, adhere to ethical values, and are adept at teamwork.
