Toros University's Champion Chefs Visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Ariöz

The students of Toros University Cookery Programme, who won 2 gold and 1 silver medal by achieving great success in the VIth International Gastro Afyon Tourism and Taste Festival, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz in his office.

The visit took place at the Bahçelievler Campus Rector's Office and was attended by the Director of the Vocational School, Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Seçkin Doğan, Cookery Programme Lecturer. Lecturer. Uğurcan Metin and successful students İhsan Duru, Nisa Karşılayan and Çiçek Yaren Genç attended the visit.

The students, who competed both individually and as a team in the festival, successfully represented the university in the international arena with 2 gold and 1 silver medal they won. During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz, especially the instructor of the Cookery Programme, Assist. Prof. Dr. Uğurcan Metin and expressed his belief that these successes will continue.

Rector Arıöz said, ‘Our students made us proud by winning 2 gold and 1 silver medal at the festival held in Afyon. Now we are sending them to Kayseri and I am confident that they will return with gold medals from there as well.’
