Toros University Students Celebrate Republican Holiday In Toroslar

Toros University Nature Sports Club students, under the guidance of their advisor Prof. Dr. Köksal Hazır, hiked in the Taurus Mountains as part of the 100th anniversary of the Republic. They hiked from Kızılisalı Village to Narlı Kuyu, singing anthems.

Toros University Nature Sports Club organized a 100th Anniversary of the Republic march as part of the Republic Day celebrations. Starting from Kızılisalı village, the students walked with the moon and star Turkish flags until the Caves of Heaven and Hell, and ended the trip with a tour of Narlıkuyu Bay and Kızkalesi. In their statement, the members of the Nature Sports Community said; "We hope that this walk will be a symbol of our determination to carry our Republic forward. We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Köksal Hazır and all participants for accompanying us on this trip to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey with pride and enthusiasm."
