Toros University Shmyo Held An Education Program For Academics

Toros University School of Health Services Vocational High School (SHMYO) held an education program on September 8, 2025, aimed at faculty members to support academic development. The training was planned in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

In the morning session, Prof. Dr. Devrim Alıcı met with academics with his training titled “Monitoring and Evaluating Student Performance in Health Services Education.” The presentation addressed the systematic monitoring of student performance, the effectiveness of measurement and evaluation processes, and the importance of feedback mechanisms.

In the afternoon session, Lecturer Ümit Yüzbaşıoğlu presented practical information on increasing academic productivity with his presentation titled “Continuity and Productivity in Academic Publishing: Practical Strategies and Tips for Researchers.”

At the end of the training program, certificates of appreciation were presented to Prof. Dr. Devrim Alıcı and Lecturer Ümit Yüzbaşıoğlu by Lecturer Dilan Sarpkaya, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, for their contributions.

The Toros University SHMYO Directorate expressed its gratitude to the speakers for these valuable trainings that contribute to academic development.
