Toros University Gstmf Dean Prof. Dr. Uğurcan Akyüz Received The Title Of First-aider

Prof. Dr. Uğurcan Akyüz, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at Toros University, successfully completed the First Aid Training Programme organised in cooperation with Toros University First Aid Training Centre (İYEM) and Mersin Provincial Directorate of Health and received the title of "First Aider".

Prof. Dr. Uğurcan Akyüz was presented with his First Aid certificate by Toros University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tunay Köksal and IYEM Director Prof. Dr. Behire Sancar.

Drawing attention to the importance of First Aid training, Prof. Dr. Uğurcan Akyüz said, "First aid is one of the first and most important links in the life-saving chain. Thanks to this training, we can contribute to saving many lives by making the right interventions in emergencies. It is of great importance that such trainings are disseminated and everyone has this knowledge."

Emphasising the importance of First Aid training, IYEM Director Prof. Dr. Behire Sancar stated that this programme, which was carried out in cooperation with IYEM and Mersin Provincial Directorate of Health, is an important step in increasing first aid awareness and raising awareness in the society, and stated that Toros University will continue such trainings and reach more people.
