“The Psychologist Of The Future: Artificial Intelligence-supported Clinical Applications” Conference Was Held
Artificial Intelligence-Supported Clinical Applications Training for Psychology Department Students
Toros University's Psychology Department discussed the role of artificial intelligence in clinical processes and technological transformation at an event organized under the “Psychologist of the Future” vision.
The seminar titled “Psychologist of the Future: Artificial Intelligence-Supported Clinical Applications,” organized by Dr. Merve Kalınlı, Assistant Professor at our University's Psychology Department, was held on February 24, 2026, at the Bahçelievler Campus Conference Hall. Lecturer Burak Can from the Department of Computer Technologies at Tarsus University Vocational School, who participated in the event as a speaker, shared innovations at the intersection of technology and mental health disciplines with our students.
Technological Transformation and Ethical Standards
The seminar covered in detail how artificial intelligence algorithms can be used in clinical assessment processes, the advantages of data analysis in diagnosis and treatment planning, and the ethical boundaries of digital health applications. Lecturer Burak Can emphasized that future psychologists gaining technological competence is critically important for professional efficiency.
The “Super Therapy” Privilege for Our Students
One of the most notable parts of the event was the opportunity offered to participants to apply what they learned. As part of the seminar, all participating students were granted free access to the Super Therapy platform so they could personally experience AI-supported clinical processes. This allowed our students to test their theoretical knowledge in a digital supervision environment.
