Rector Ari̇öz To Speak At Leadershi̇p Academy Congress

The 6th Leadership Academy and Management Congress, held under the slogan “Innovative Congress Experience in University-Industry Collaboration,” will take place on October 3-5, 2025, at the Ulu Resort Hotel in Mersin. The event stands out as a pioneering platform that brings together academia and the business world.

One of the most notable moments of the congress will be the participation of Toros University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz as a guest speaker. Prof. Dr. Arıöz will share important insights on the future of university-industry collaboration, leadership vision, and transformation in higher education.

The event will be held in collaboration with the Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mersin University, with contributions from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Istanbul Nisantasi University, Toros University, Cag University, Cukurova Development Agency, and Silifke Municipality. This collaboration model adds a multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary dimension to the congress.

The congress brings together academics working on leadership, entrepreneurship, and management issues with experienced figures from the business world. Panels, academic sessions, workshops, B2B meetings, and company presentations will be held during the event. New commercial agreements between business people and cooperation protocols between universities are expected to be signed.

The papers presented at the Leadership Academy are transformed into scientific publications at the national and international level, focusing on the social sciences. This approach, which combines academic knowledge with field experience, makes the congress not just an event, but a sustainable platform for knowledge production and sharing.
