Our Teachers Participated In The Working Meeting Held At The Turkish Language Institution

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ş. Aksan and Dr. Lecturer Umut U. Demirhan from the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of our University, together with the HAVELSAN team, attended the working meeting held on July 11, 2025 at the Turkish Language Institute campus. Prof. Dr. Umut U. Demirhan participated in the meeting.

Prof. Dr. Osman Mert, President of the Turkish Language Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harun Şahin, Vice President Assoc. Dr. Harun Şahin, Prof. Dr. Paşa Yavuzarslan from the Current Turkish Dictionary and Spelling Guide Science and Application Branch and the staff of the institution attended the meeting organized to contribute to the "Project to Create a Corpus-Based Turkish Dictionary" carried out by the Turkish Language Association within the scope of the Presidential Investment Project.

During the meeting, contributions to the corpus-based dictionary studies carried out within the scope of the project at the academic level and cooperation opportunities in the field of language technologies were discussed.
