July 15 Message From the Rector of Toros University: "We Stand with the National Will"

The Rector of Toros University, who attended the "Democracy Watch" events organized on the occasion of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, emphasized the importance of national will and independence. Delivering messages of unity and solidarity at Cumhuriyet Square during the democracy watch, Rector Arıöz stated that as the university community, they always stand by democracy.

During the program, after watching President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s speech on the screens, the citizens filling the square sang along to anthems with great enthusiasm. Throughout the program, the Rector spent time with the citizens, expressing that July 15 is an unforgettable epic and that passing this spirit down to future generations is one of the fundamental duties of educational institutions.

As part of the event, awards were also presented to the athletes who placed in the "July 15 Martyrs Flag Run," which was held simultaneously across 81 provinces. Congratulating the young athletes on their success, the Rector of Toros University stated that generations raised with national consciousness are the greatest guarantee for the future of Turkey.

The night concluded with the recitation of the sela prayers.
