Erasmus+ Wind at Toros University: International Collaboration in Gastronomy

The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture at Toros University hosted a comprehensive “Teaching Mobility” event as part of the Erasmus+ Çukurovamed Project. The program, held on April 20, 2026, at the 45 Evler Conference Hall, featured Agnes Toth from the Hungary-based company Nar Gourmet.

During the two-session discussion series organized as part of the event, gastronomy education was examined from an international perspective. In the morning session, titled “Entrepreneurship and the Story of Nar Gourmet,” the focus was on branding processes and commercial dynamics within the sector. The afternoon session addressed the topics of “Gastrodiplomacy, Cultural Diplomacy, and Turkish and Hungarian Cuisine.”

The event, which was followed with great interest by Toros University faculty and students, provided a significant opportunity for students to broaden their professional horizons and explore the bridges between the culinary cultures of the two countries.
