Earthquake Summit Conference Was Held At Toros University

The Earthquake Summit conference, organised by the Department of Civil Engineering of Toros University, was held at the 45 Evler Campus Conference Hall with great participation. Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakıroğlu, academicians and students showed great interest in the event.
Mersin University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Özgür Lütfi Ertuğrul, Yunus Emre Akkaş and Master Architect Civil Engineer Yoshinori Moriwaki took part in the conference as speakers. The speakers made detailed explanations on the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquake that occurred on 6 February and shared important information.
At the end of the event, plaques of appreciation were presented to the speakers by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakıroğlu, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. Participants experienced the value of being on an interactive platform to increase their knowledge on earthquakes and to ask their questions directly to experts.
