Toros University and AKYÜREK Teknoloji Makine A.Ş. Signed a Cooperation Protocol

A cooperation protocol was signed between Toros University, AKYÜREK Teknoloji Makine A.Ş. and its subsidiary companies. The protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the university and the sector, and to establish partnerships in research and development (R&D) projects, graduate education programs and various educational activities.

The protocol was signed on behalf of Toros University by Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz and on behalf of AKYÜREK Teknoloji Makine A.Ş. by Board Member Gül Akyürek Balta. Prof. Dr. Adnan Mazmanoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Toros University, and Prof. Dr. Zehra Yeğingil also attended the protocol ceremony.

Within the framework of the signed protocol, various activities such as symposiums, congresses, seminars, conferences and training certificate programs will be organized. In addition, both parties will cooperate in vocational training, technical trips, consultancy services and similar courses.

The protocol will provide Toros University students with internship and hands-on engineering training opportunities, while AKYÜREK Teknoloji Makine A.Ş. and its subsidiary companies will provide graduate education opportunities for their employees.

One of the most striking features of the cooperation will be the practical implementation of the Industrial Engineering Master's program. The program will be implemented bi-directionally, with seven weeks at the factory and seven weeks at the university. This practice will enable students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practice and establish a closer connection with the business world.
