Kamuran Öztop said, "Our cookery programme was established in 2015, and today we are together with our friends, the cookery family, who have never felt its absence since the first day it was established. It is very valuable for me because as one of the founding academic staff of this department, I am very excited to see that we have come to these days. Today, we will dress the uniforms of our students who will start the new academic year with you. Uniforms are very valuable for me, especially the white uniform, in my opinion, is an indicator of professional ethics and ethics. We consider it our duty to instil this in our students already."

After Öztop, the Director of the Vocational School, Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Seçkin Doğan said Prof. Dr. Seçkin Doğan said, "As Toros University, we are happy to be with you at the Chef Uniform Dressing Ceremony, which is an important day in the education of the Cookery Programme. In this context, today is a day when our students will officially take their place in the world of cookery by blending their journey of learning and discovery. In fact, today is a day when our students, beyond being a student, take the first steps towards becoming a professional chef. I wish all our cookery students the chance to work with people and institutions where they will be rewarded for their efforts and the strength and faith to 'not give up' on this day, which is the first step to show their potential. Our belief and trust in you is endless. Anyway, this department is an award-winning department, thanks to them, a department that accustomed us to trophies and medals. I would like to thank Kamuran teacher, Başak teacher, Uğurcan teacher and our cookery programme students."
ARIÖZ "OUR YOUNG PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL TAKE OVER THE FLAG AFTER US"
Lastly, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Arıöz said, "At the point we have reached, we hear that our young people are leaving, our young people do not want to stop, there is no such thing, our young people are the ones who will take over the flag after us, no one needs to worry or be afraid. They are standing upright, they are here and we trust them very much. This youth goes and collects all the awards, comes first in many competitions in Turkey and abroad, and graduates as a graduated person. As Toros University and other universities, we have three different tasks. One of them is education. You will graduate, you will finish the education side, then we have R&D activities apart from the education side, our lecturer Uğurcan Metin has many patent applications, we have students with patent applications. We also have a community service side. On the community service side, we touch people through TORSEM, that is, we touch the society. 2 years ago we gave 286 certificates, the previous year we gave approximately 2800 certificates, last year we gave 2500 certificates, this year the number of certificates we have given so far is around 4180. Therefore, we have touched 4180 people. Our number of patent applications this year is 38, 20 patent applications are also coming, numerically speaking, it is in the top 10 in Turkey.
Our friends are in safe hands, they are doing good work; they come first in competitions. Our students of the cookery department come first in competitions thanks to our valuable chefs, and I thank them very much, thank you very much. I eat the food they cook at least once a week, and they are all healthy."
